the national weather service in morristown has issued a 
 
* severe thunderstorm warning for... 
campbell county in east tennessee... 
this includes the city of la follette... 
scott county in east tennessee... 
this includes the city of oneida... 
 
* until 1000 pm edt 
 
* at 908 pm edt(808 pm cdt)...national weather service doppler radar 
indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing penny 
size hail...and destructive winds in excess of 70 mph.  these 
storms were located along a line extending from 40 miles north of 
oneida to 23 miles northwest of oneida to 51 miles west of 
oneida...or along a line extending from 13 miles southwest of 
london to 6 miles southeast of monticello to 9 miles northeast of 
celina...and moving southeast at 55 mph. 
 
* severe thunderstorms will be near... 
oneida by 940 pm edt... 
huntsville by 950 pm edt... 
la follette and jacksboro by 1000 pm edt... 
 
in addition to large hail and damaging winds...continuous cloud to 
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. move indoors 
immediately! lightning is one of natures primary killers. remember... 
if you can hear thunder...you are close enough to be struck by 
lightning.
