[ETSkywarnings] Severe Weather Statement

[sn at ds.bz]

...a severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 1130 pm edt
for northeastern rhea and roane counties...

at 1110 pm edt...a severe thunderstorm was reported capable of
producing quarter size hail...and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
this storm was located near eagle furnace...or about near
rockwood...moving southeast at 20 mph.

the severe thunderstorm will be near...
fairview by 1125 pm edt...
6 miles west of paint rock by 1130 pm edt...

doppler radar has indicated some weak rotation within this storm.
while not immediately likely...a tornado may still develop with
little warning. if a tornado is spotted...act quickly and move to a
place of safety in a sturdy structure...such as a basement or small
interior room.
