.colder air will continue to push into the area tonight...and
colder than normal conditions are expected to continue for the
next few days. a canadian ridge of high pressure will continue to
build south into the southern appalachians and tennessee valley
through the rest of the week. temperatures will likely dip at or below
freezing over most locations tonight...and area-wide thursday
night.

temperatures thursday night into friday morning are expected to
drop into the upper 20s to around 30 across the central and
southern tennessee valley.
a freeze watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
these conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation
that are left unprotected.
