the national weather service in morristown has issued a freeze 
warning...which is in effect from 10 pm edt /9 pm cdt/ this 
evening to 10 am edt /9 am cdt/ sunday. 
 
temperatures will fall quickly this evening. temperatures in the 
lower 20s or even the upper teens will be possible in many valley 
locations by sunday morning...with temperatures in the teens common 
over the higher elevations. 
 
a freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are expected or 
occurring. these conditions may kill crops and other sensitive 
vegetation that are left unprotected.
