powell river near arthur tn affecting claiborne and hancock
counties

runoff from previous heavy rains has increased into the powell
river channel. the warning for minor flooding is therefore re-issued.

weather information.

the powell river near arthur tn
* until late tonight.
* at 8 am monday the stage was...14.9 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* forecast to crest near the flood stage this evening and fall below
flood stage later tonight.
* at 17.0 feet...minor flooding begins near the highway 25e bridge.




Affected Counties:
In Tennessee: Claiborne, Hancock.
