the national weather service in morristown has issued a 
 
* severe thunderstorm warning for... 
morgan county in east tennessee... 
this includes the city of wartburg... 
scott county in east tennessee... 
this includes the city of oneida... 
 
* until 830 pm edt 
 
* at 742 pm edt...national weather service doppler radar indicated a 
severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail...and 
damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.  this storm was located 9 miles 
northwest of wartburg...and moving northeast at 35 mph. 
 
* the severe thunderstorm will be near... 
huntsville by 815 pm edt... 
8 miles southeast of oneida by 820 pm edt... 
 
a tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. if a tornado 
is spotted...act quickly and move to a place of safety in a sturdy 
structure...such as a basement or small interior room.
