the national weather service in morristown has issued a 
 
* severe thunderstorm warning for... 
campbell county in east tennessee... 
this includes the city of la follette... 
 
* until 915 pm edt 
 
* at 833 pm edt...national weather service doppler radar indicated a 
severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail...and 
damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.  this storm was located 6 miles 
northwest of jacksboro...or about 8 miles west of la follette...and 
moving northeast at 40 mph. 
 
* the severe thunderstorm will be near... 
la follette by 840 pm edt... 
 
a tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. if a tornado 
is spotted...act quickly and move to a place of safety in a sturdy 
structure...such as a basement or small interior room.
