...areas of black ice possible overnight...

areas of light rain or snow fell across much of the region today
...leaving bridges...overpasses and roads wet. clouds will decrease
this evening...leading to partial clearing later tonight as cold and
drier air moves into the region. this will allow temperatures to fall
into the teens to lower 20s...possibly even some single digits in the
highest terrain overnight.

these temperatures will be cold enough to produce icy patches on
bridges...overpasses and roads where any water remains. drivers
should be alert for this possibility...and be extra cautious when
traveling after sunset tonight. bridges and overpasses will likely
become icy before most area roads.
