...light snowfall possible tonight across northern middle tennessee
and the cumberland plateau...
a fast moving clipper system will move through the mid state
this afternoon...followed by much colder air...along with brisk
northwest winds. another clipper system...currently poised
over the high plains...will dive rapidly southeast...and coupled
with an upper level disturbance in the central plains...will
bring a chance for light snow to middle tennessee after midnight
tonight...and early sunday morning.
up to an inch of snow is possible across northern middle tennessee...
and along the cumberland plateau...with a dusting possible across
southern areas.
the best time frame for snow in middle tennessee tonight and early
sunday...is between 3 am and 9 am cst.
low temperatures tonight will be in the lower 20s across middle
tennessee...with upper teens on the plateau. highs on sunday will
struggle to reach the freezing mark over the northern half of middle
tennessee.
