...a little snow expected late tonight through about mid morning
sunday...

a weak disturbance high up in the atmosphere will move across
southern kentucky late tonight and sunday...generating some light
snow across portions of the mid state.

light snow should begin over northwest middle tennessee probably
around 2 am cst...and in the nashville area by about 4 am. light
snow should begin across the northern cumberland plateau areas by
about 5 or 6 am.

due to the expected movement of the weather disturbance across
southern kentucky...the best chances for measurable snow will be
over the northern parts of the mid state...where less than an inch
of snow can be expected. over southern sections only a dusting at
best is expected.

other than a few lingering flurries late sunday morning...the
measurable part of the snowfall should move to the east and out
of middle tennessee before noon.

because a cold front will be moving south across the mid state
overnight...low temperatures will be below freezing in all areas.
current road temperatures around the freezing mark should drop
below freezing as well during the overnight hours.

motorists therefore should exercise caution late tonight and
sunday morning...as roads and highways will be slippery in some
areas...particularly across northern sections.
