...snow for most of the mid state saturday...ending sunday morning
in the cumberland plateau...

a low pressure system in the northern plains will track southeastward
into illinois by 6 am saturday. precipitation ahead of the associated
surface cold front will produce snow beginning saturday morning
in the northwestern counties of the mid state. ahead of the
cold front snow fall accumulations up to one inch could be produce in
the extreme northern and eastern counties. saturday as the cold front
advances through the mid state by late afternoon temperatures just
ahead of the front will climb to slightly above freezing in all but
the higher elevations of the cumberland plateau. thus changing the
snow saturday afternoon to a snow rain mix in most of the mid
state...with light rain only in the extreme southern counties.

total snowfall accumulations saturday up one inch possible in areas
north of nashville with up to two inches possible in the higher
elevations of the cumberland plateau region.

In Tennessee: Bedford, Benton, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson, DeKalb, Dickson, Fentress, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson, Wilson.
