...accumulating snowfall gradually ending today... 
 
.lingering low level moisture and brisk west or northwest winds... 
will continue to produce at least scattered snow showers or 
flurries...on the back side of the departing low pressure system. 
 
some additional light snow accumulations may occur at least this 
morning...with a few snow showers or flurries lasting into the 
afternoon hours in the higher elevations along the tennessee and 
north carolina state line. 
 
partial sunshine may break out on the cumberland plateau and valley 
locations by this afternoon...but temperatures are expected to 
mainly hold in the 20s and 30s. slow clearing of skies and cold 
temperatures overnight...will cause most roads to be icy and snow 
covered again into monday morning.

enforcement officials continued to report very hazardous road 
conditions this morning.

or occurring...but accumulations are expected to be light. 
driving and walking may be difficult on untreated roadways and 
sidewalks. be prepared for snow and ice covered roads and limited 
visibilities. if you must travel...slow down and allow extra time 
to reach your destination.
