[ETSkywarnings] Special Weather Statement

...a strong thunderstorm was affecting hawkins and washington
counties...

at 416 am est...national weather service doppler radar was tracking a
strong thunderstorm 10 miles north of tusculum....moving east at 45
mph.

this storm will be near...
jonesborough by 435 am est.
gray by 440 am est.

dime size hail...and winds 30 to 40 mph are expected with this storm.

in addition to small hail and gusty winds...frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. move indoors
immediately! lightning is one of natures primary killers. remember...
if you can hear thunder...you are close enough to be struck by
lightning.




Affected Counties:
In Tennessee: Hawkins, Washington.
