...a strong thunderstorm will affect loudon...mcminn...meigs...
monroe and roane counties...

at 842 pm edt...national weather service doppler radar was tracking a
strong thunderstorm near decatur....moving east at 35 mph.

this storm will be near...
5 miles north of athens by 900 pm edt.
5 miles south of sweetwater by 910 pm edt.
madisonville by 920 pm edt.

winds up to 40 mph are expected with this storm. these winds can blow
down large limbs or weak trees...and overturn unsecured outdoor
objects. people outdoors should seek shelter from these storms.
