[ETSkywarnings] Special Weather Statement

...a strong thunderstorm will affect anderson...northern knox and
southern union counties...

at 637 pm edt...national weather service doppler radar was tracking a
strong thunderstorm 11 miles southwest of jacksboro....moving east at
30 mph.

this storm will be near...
6 miles north of clinton by 700 pm edt.

winds 30 to 40 mph are expected with this storm.

continuous cloud to ground lightning is also occurring with this
storm. move indoors immediately! lightning is one of natures primary
killers. remember...if you can hear thunder...you are close enough
to be struck by lightning. boaters on norris lake should move to
shore and seek shelter immediately.
