[ETSkywarnings] Severe Weather Statement

...a severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 545 pm edt
for monroe and mcminn counties...

at 513 pm edt...national weather service doppler radar continued to
indicate a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing
quarter size hail...and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. these
storms were located mainly near the mcminn and monroe county line...
and were moving south around 20 mph.

quarter size hail was reported near etowah with these storms.
