the national weather service in morristown has issued a 
 
* severe thunderstorm warning for... 
campbell county in east tennessee... 
union county in east tennessee... 
 
* until 400 pm edt 
 
* at 256 pm edt...national weather service doppler radar indicated a 
severe thunderstorm capable of producing nickel size hail...and 
damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.  this storm was located 7 miles 
northeast of fincastle...or about 12 miles northeast of la 
follette...and moving southwest at 10 mph. 
 
* the severe thunderstorm will be near... 
fincastle by 325 pm edt... 
6 miles northwest of norris lake by 345 pm edt... 
 
in addition to large hail and damaging winds...continuous cloud to 
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. move indoors 
immediately! lightning is one of natures primary killers. remember... 
if you can hear thunder...you are close enough to be struck by 
lightning.
