...a strong thunderstorm was affecting scott county...

at 201 pm edt...national weather service doppler radar was tracking a
strong thunderstorm 11 miles southwest of huntsville....moving north
at 15 mph.

mothball size hail...and winds 30 to 40 mph are expected with this
storm.
