the national weather service in morristown has issued a 
 
* severe thunderstorm warning for... 
jefferson county in east tennessee... 
this includes the cities of...jefferson city...dandridge... 
 
* until 730 pm edt 
 
* at 648 pm edt...national weather service doppler radar indicated a 
severe thunderstorm capable of producing nickel size hail...and 
damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.  this storm was located 7 miles 
southwest of dandridge...or about 6 miles northeast of 
sevierville...and moving north at 5 mph. 
 
* the severe thunderstorm will be near... 
dandridge by 725 pm edt... 
6 miles south of jefferson city and 7 miles southeast of new market 
by 730 pm edt...
