...wind advisory in effect until midnight est tonight... 
 
the national weather service in morristown has issued a wind 
advisory...which is in effect until midnight est tonight. 
 
winds have increased across the smoky mountain region as a cold 
front approaches the area. sustained winds will continue around 
the 20 to 30 mph range...however...occasional strong wind gusts of 
40 to 45 mph will be possible throughout the evening. 
additionally...southerly wind will shift to the west as the front 
moves through. 
 
winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high 
profile vehicles... so use caution when driving.
