the national weather service in morristown has issued a freeze 
warning...which is in effect from 4 am to 10 am edt tuesday. the 
freeze warning that had been in effect this morning has expired. 
 
temperatures are expected to fall to near or below freezing 
tonight across northeast tennessee and southwest virginia...allowing 
widespread frost to form. 
 
a freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are expected or 
occurring. these conditions may kill crops and other sensitive 
vegetation that are left unprotected.
